Maternity sessions can be anything your heart desires. You can do images of yourself only, you can do a full family session, you can do just you and your significant other…it is up to you.
We can do them in the studio, we can do a milk bath, we can outdoor session in the desert, or in the mountains, in a park, or downtown. We can do several outfit changes, we can do bare belly images, images in fabric drapes & underwear, or naked (depending on location!).
Whatever vision that you have, I will try my very best to make it come true!
Just before Christmas, Vanessa contacted me looking to do a snow maternity session. Unfortunately, being in southern Arizona, these things can be hard to schedule…especially early on in the winter season.
So when our scheduled date, came & went without any precipitation, we scheduled for the following weekend with our fingers crossed. Well, we didn’t have much luck. A tiny little storm came through, leaving only a dusting of snow – which by the weekend, had almost completely melted away.
I got to our chosen location about an hour early, and scoured the area looking for patches of snow in pretty enough, and accessible enough locations that we could use them for the session. I found a few, so at least we got a little bit of a taste of winter.
Here are Vanessa’s pretty maternity images from mid-December on Mt. Lemmon!
Vanessa’s sweet baby girl was born with a cleft lip & palate, to read a little bit about her, and to see her newborn images, stay tuned for next week’s blog post!
