Mini session events are a great opportunity to get pictures of the whole family together & pictures of just the kid(s). All you could need for an awesome Christmas card, as well as prints and photo gifts for the relatives. Now, more than ever before, it seems to me that it's time to celebrate your family and cherish your loved ones!
The 2025 Fall Family Mini Session is $225 + tax, and you get an online gallery of at least 15-20 fully retouched images to view from the session. Ten (10) high-resolution images are included with your session fee, available for download, and with full print release included. Additional single images, or your entire gallery may be purchased as well.
How easy is that? Super easy.
Sign up for the on-location outdoor family mini session events happening November 13th through the 16th. Each 20-30 minute session is at a unique location in Tucson & surrounding areas. For those of you returning from years past, try out a new location!!

Agua Caliente Park
This location is well-groomed park, boasting mown turf grass, beautiful palm trees and large ponds, this is a favorite spot for family picnics & other photographers, so it is often bustling with activity. Easy flat & paved access for strollers, heels, and those who are more unsteady on their feet.

Sunset Trailhead
Come take a walk in the woods with me for a true fall experience! This location is on the upper half of Mt. Lemmon at Sunset Trailhead, and being that it is much cooler up here earlier in the season, we might enjoy some fall-colored foliage! You will be able to look forward to cool temperatures & towering pine trees! Bring your photo worthy sweaters, scarves, hats & jackets for these crisp sunrise sessions!

Top of the Mountain
A new location in my mini session line-up! Though this location is a long drive, make a day of it & take a trip to the top of our very own "Sky Island". When you get up this high on Mount Lemmon, the climate is so incredibly different that the air itself feels rejuvenating. The city views & towering pines are truly awe-inspiring. Come! Experience sunset with me, on the mountain!

Sweetwater Wetlands
This location is a park-like area on the Tucson's west side. A favorite for local families & photographers, this location boasts lush foliage, a pond, and smooth paved & gravel pathways for easy access.
One of my newer locations in this year's mini session line up, come grab your morning coffee, and get your photos checked off the to-do list early in the day! Perfect for early birds & wildlife spotting, try it out & you just might love it!

Downtown, El Presidio
Meet me downtown! The ever popular historic El Presidio district, near downtown Tucson that is! Also know as the "Old Barrio", this location features brightly painted walls & doorways to frame your family. What is more "Tucson" than the old barrio? This location was new in 2017, and for the last nine years, has been one of my most popular & raved about locations, and always, always the first one to sell out!

Chihuahua Pine
We will be returning to the Chihuahua Pine picnic area! Located about 20min up Mt. Lemmon, this forested picnic area is a true haven; with tall trees, wild grasses, boulders, and a small intermittent creek. This well-loved location will be primed for cool temperatures & fall colors. Chihuahua Pine remains one of my all time favorite photo spots on Mt. Lemmon, due to the ease of access & the absolute perfection of the evening light!

This location is so popular, that I am making sure to have two mini session dates available this year. So, the first location of this year's November visit, I will head back to the old barrio, and photograph any additional families who want some of that "old Tucson" charm.

Broadway Trailhead
Well known throughout Tucson, for its beautiful mountain views, and lush natural desert foliage Saguaro National Park - East offers beauty not found elsewhere in the area. Though we access the park through a side entrance off Broadway Road, this popular location can require either a day use or annual fee to visit. There is some short walking involved when visiting this location, but sandals are okay as we will stay on or near well-groomed trails.

Secret Northeast Desert
This is my "secret" desert location due to the very few visitors it seems to receive, and truly it has everything characteristic of our lush desert landscape; Saguaro, Mesquite, Cholla & Prickly Pear, plus beautiful views of the Catalina Mountains. This location is a natural desert area on the outskirts of NE Tucson, truly a hidden gem.

Catalina State Park
This is one of my newer mini session locations! Catalina State Park features a dry riverbed, grasses, desert foliage, and breathtaking up-close views of Pusch Ridge. With easy dirt trail access from the parking lot, this location is a 10/10.
As a state park, there is a small day use fee so please be prepared. This fee helps to keep our beautiful state parks clean & accessable.

Honeybee Canyon
The next location is truly a crowd favorite! Honeybee Canyon is a hidden gem in Oro Valley, featuring an old stone dam & beautiful rock canyon. This is a great location for those on the NW side of town, who are up for a short sandy hike through the desert. If you choose to book this location, please wear sturdy shoes & know how to find the dam, because that is where we will be meeting.
