Mini session events are a great opportunity to get pictures of the whole family together & pictures of just the kid(s). All you could need for an awesome Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparent's Day, Christmas or Hanukah gift! Now, more than ever before, it seems to me that it's time to celebrate your family and cherish your loved ones!
The 2026 Mini Sessions are $245 + tax, and you get an online gallery of at least 15-35 fully retouched images to view from the session. Ten (10) high-resolution images are included with your session fee, available for download, and with full print release included. Additional single images, or your entire gallery may be purchased as well.
How easy is that? Super easy.
Sign up for the on-location outdoor family mini session events happening November 4th - 10th. Each 20-30 minute session is at an unique location in Tucson & surrounding areas. For those of you returning from years past, try out one of the SIX new locations!!

Tanque Verde Guest Ranch
NEW LOCATION!
A ranch hotel & venue located on Tucson's eastside. The grounds are well kept in a south western rustic style.
Availability at this site will be dependent on whether another event has already been booked. Unfortunately, we will not know until the day beforehand if this spot is available. But if you are willing to take the risk, it would be well worth it.

Catalina State Park
Catalina State Park features a dry riverbed, grasses, desert foliage, and breathtaking up-close views of Pusch Ridge. With easy dirt trail access from the parking lot, this location is a 10/10.
As a state park, there is a small day use fee so please be prepared. This fee helps to keep our beautiful state parks clean & accessible.

El Presidio District
My most popular mini session location! Most returning clients have had a session done here at least once, some love it so much that they have come back several times. With boldly colored walls, doorways, tile, and desert foliage accents...what is more classically "Tucson" than the old barrio? Come and see!

NEW LOCATION!
A similar vibe to El Presidio, but with a bit of a Spanish European flair. These sessions will be first thing in the morning & a few of the locals have been having a small issue with outsiders coming in to their beautiful courtyard spaces. We should be fine as long as we are respectful & do not trespass. Due to these considerations, this location may not be ideal for families with very rambunctious children.
Backup Location: Downtown 4th Street

This location is well-groomed park, boasting mown turf grass, beautiful palm trees and large ponds, this is a favorite spot for family picnics & other photographers, so it can be bustling with activity. Easy flat & paved access for strollers, heels, and those who are more unsteady on their feet.

About 10min up Mt. Lemmon, this location is a rocky windswept outcropping overlooking Molino Canyon. This location features a dry rocky creek bed, and well-kept gravel trail with desert foliage on both sides. Join me for an early morning session before the sun gets too high in the sky!

Top of The Mountain
We are giving this location another go after we were rained out last year...we still managed with a few intrepid families...and are praying for ideal weather this time around...! Knock on wood!
With groves of Aspen & sparsely arranged Pines, this location has good afternoon shade, as well as sunset views over Tucson from the top of the mountain. Bring a jacket, it can get chilly this far up!

La Mariposa
We were last here in 2019, so it has been a minute... La Mariposa is a beautiful location frequently used as a wedding venue. The area we would use is the south pond area with reeds, ducks & dry grasses.

Honeybee Canyon, Oro Valley
The next location is truly a crowd favorite! Honeybee Canyon is a hidden gem in Oro Valley, featuring an old stone dam & beautiful rock canyon. This is a great location for those on the northwest side of town, who are up for a short sandy hike through the desert. If you choose to book this location, please wear sturdy shoes & know how to find the dam, because that is where we will be meeting.
